The course provides a structured and practical overview of the concept of impact in research, with a specific focus on the requirements of competitive funding programmes (e.g. Horizon Europe). Participants will acquire practical tools to analyse the stakeholder landscape, build credible impact pathways, and effectively integrate Dissemination, Exploitation and Communication (DEC) activities into research design.

L'obiettivo del corso“Crafting Your PhD Career” è quello di introdurre i partecipanti al concetto di job crafting come approccio proattivo per migliorare l'impegno personale, la motivazione e la produttività in ambito accademico e professionale. Comprendendo i principi del job crafting, i partecipanti impareranno ad allineare i compiti, le relazioni e le percezioni con i propri punti di forza, le passioni e gli obiettivi di carriera, favorendo esperienze più significative.  Un punto chiave sarà la promozione della pianificazione strategica e dell'adattabilità, che consentirà ai partecipanti di creare piani attuabili per lo sviluppo del job crafting in ambienti dinamici.

The goal of the “Crafting Your PhD Career” course is to introduce participants to the concept of job crafting as a proactive approach to improving personal engagement, motivation, and productivity in academic and professional settings. By understanding the principles of job crafting, participants will learn how to align tasks, relationships and perceptions with their strengths, passions and career goals, fostering more meaningful experiences.  A key focus will be on promoting strategic planning and adaptability, which will enable participants to create actionable plans for job crafting development in dynamic environments.
